Veselí nad Moravou is an industrial town with a population of 12,500 people located in the fertile land north of the district's capital town of Hodonín, and lies on one of the main traffic routes across Moravia. In the town of Veselí and its closest surroundings there are about 12,000 working inhabitants and another 10,000 in nearby areas accessible by transportation. The town of Veselí na Moravě lies about 80 km southeast of Brno, on a prime, north-south link (the first class road No. 55) from Břeclav to Přerov and further through Ostrava to Poland. In the town there also is a railway which runs parallel to the road. The business park covers an area over 25 ha (62 acres) and is situated on the southern outskirts of the town, between the first class road No. 54 (Svatoplukova street) and the third class road No. 4994 (Kolárova street). The land is designated for light industrial production, building and storage facilities, administrative buildings, non-manufacturing services, light manufacturing and communal workshops, technical facilities, living accommodations linked to the workshops and facilities. 75% of the area, i.e. 19 ha (47 acres), is designated for construction. The zone has acquired a long tradition in metal works and metal products. It is adjacent to the first class road No. 54 and also is situated near the planned town bypass. The distance from the closest motorway measures 52 km (first class road I 54 to motorway D1 Praha - Brno - Ostrava; or first class road I 55 to motorway D2 Brno - Bratislava).

Within this zone, potential investors can obtain the advantages of the standard investment incentives offered (discounts on income taxes, special regime of custom duties), as well as other allowances, such as a subsidy of 200,000 CZK for every new job opportunity or a subsidy for retraining of employees which can reach up to 35% of the eligible business expenses. Because of the high rate of unemployment in this region, the minimum level of investment in order to qualify for these investment incentives has been reduced.
