(506) Hodonín - Pánov (10 ha)

The town of Hodonín with the population of approx. 30,000 inhabitants is an industrial area located where the Czech Republic borders Slovakia and Austria. The distance from Hodonín to Brno measures about 75 km and to Vienna about 130 km. Hodonín is the administrative center of the Hodonín district. Hodonín provides a very good connection to the regional, state and international traffic systems. This connection is provided by a railway and the town is also an important railway hub on the route Břeclav - Hodonín -Ostrava. Moreover, it is located on the two first class roads, I 55 and I 51. The zone Pánov is situated in the north part of the town, in the area between the Slovácký Statek agricultural property and former military training facilities. The traffic connection with the D2 motorway Brno - Bratislava is provided by the first class road I 55 (the nearest motorway entrance Břeclav is 20 km distant). The industrial zone is designed in such a way that it further links the technical infrastructure of the town. The whole land area occupies 10 ha (25 acres). Preferable suitable activities for this zone are manufacturing and warehouses. For potential investors, this area offers the standard investment incentives (discounts on income taxes, special regime of custom duties), as well as other allowances, such as a subsidy of 200,000 CZK for every new job opportunity or a subsidy for retraining of employees which can reach up to 35% of eligible business expenses. Because of the high rate of unemployment in this region, the minimum level of investment in order to qualify for these investment incentives has been reduced.
